The Graduation Ceremony of 41st Mid-Career Management Course was held on 25th October, 2024 at 1030 hours in CDH-MCMC. Mr. Jameel Afaqi, Dean NMC, NSPP Lahore, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Director General NIM, in his address, welcomed the Chief Guest on this auspicious occasion and shared his thoughts on the training course and its participants. 41st MCMC cohort comprised of 33 exceptional individuals, including 9 female participants. He said that the transformative 10 weeks journey has equipped them with enhanced knowledge, skills and networks. As they embark on new challenges, they will recognize and appreciate the value of this experience, significance of consensus building, intellectual humility, and the ability to engage in constructive debate.
After DG’s address, Dean NMC briefed the participants that the fundamental responsibility of the National School of Public Policy is to organize in-service training programs for Civil Servants at three important points in their careers and the process starts at the Mid-Career Level. He emphasized the importance of developing critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication techniques that will enable you to navigate the complex landscape of public administration with confidence and competence. He further stated that our focus has been on changing mindsets and cultivating a culture of cooperation, with the aim of breaking down silos and encouraging greater collaboration across departments and levels of government. While concluding the session, Dean NMC, NSPP Lahore, congratulated and wished all the participants good luck and success in their professional careers. The graduation ceremony ended with the distribution of course certificates among the participants.
