On January 29, 2025, the National Institute of Public Administration, Lahore, hosted Mr. Naeem Aslam, former Dean of National Management College, for a lecture on lecture on “Communication Skills.”

He emphasized that communication extends beyond mere speech and requires clarity in both content and delivery. He identified key challenges, including lack of awareness, ineffective messaging, and poor listening habits, stressing that 90% of communication failures stem from these factors. He outlined barriers such as hierarchical strategies like clear language, active listening, and face-to-face engagement for effective communication. He further highlighted five core principles: speaker credibility, confidence, active listening, and appropriate voice modulation.
