.        On Wednesday, 22^nd May, 2024, Dr. Attiq-Ur-Rehman delivered a comprehensive lecture    on the above topic at National Institute of Management, Lahore.

2. He told the participants that a project is an individual or collaborative enterprise that is carefully planned to achieve a particular aim. Projects can stand alone or be part of a            program or portfolio. Common characteristics of projects include clear goal/objective,     defined scope of work, limited time frame, a team, a budget, a set of risks and challenges           and a plan for managing the project.
3. Project management refers to guiding the project work to deliver the intended outcomes. It comprises application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements. The project management includes setting goals, defining the            scope of work, scheduling tasks, allocating resources, monitoring progress. He then        apprised the participants about project cycle, project identification, feasibility study,          project appraisal and approval, project implementation and monitoring and evaluation.            He later held workshops regarding preparation of PC-I and PC-11, PC-III PC-IV and PC-            V on Thursday, 23 May, 2024 for making the participants understand the practical side of             project management. Hence, the two day sessions on project management concluded with             enhancing the participants’ capacity in this regard.
