On 20^th October 2023, Ambassador (R) Aizaz Ahamd Choudhry, former Foreign Secretary of Pakistan addressed on “Pakistan-India Relations”, to the participants of the 34^th SMC.

During the lecture discussion, Ambassador (R) Choudhry started the discourse with the question as to why Pakistan’s foreign policy remained Indian centric. He explained the genesis of Kashmir issue, its complications and possible way forward in the light of present-day global situation. He talked about the religious intolerance in sub-continent and fate of Muslims in India. He also spoke about the trade and economic ties with India in different perspectives including de-coupling of trade from Kashmir Issue. In the last leg of the lecture, he shared his understanding on options available for Pakistan to redefine its relationship with India.
