On August 15th, 2025, an interactive workshop on Public Private Partnership was conducted for the 44th MCMC by Mr. Muhammad Usman, a career officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (32nd CTP). The session offered a strategic overview of PPPs as instruments for infrastructure development and service delivery, introducing participants to partnership types, modalities, and the lifecycle from project conception to closure. Building on Pakistan’s experience, including notable PPPs in Punjab, the workshop articulated principles of transparency, risk sharing, performance linked remuneration, and stakeholder alignment. The session concluded with formal thanks to the speaker for clarifying the operational and governance implications of PPPs.
