On September 8th, 2025, Mr. Naseeb Ullah Khan Bazai, Ex-ACS (Dev) Govt. of Balochistan, gave a lecture to the participants of 38th SMC on “Socio-Cultural Diversities within Balochistan province and their Impact on Public Service Management”. He elaborated upon the diversities in language, tribal customs, and ethnicities in Balochistan and how these diversities enrich culture and society.

Mr. Naseeb Ullah Khan Bazai spoke about the issues being faced by the people of Balochistan due to which they are unable to fully contribute to nation building. He succinctly discussed the limited and scattered population of Balochistan, and their ethnic diversity and how these pose a challenge for public service management. He also spoke at length about weak governance and deteriorating law and order situation in the province and gave strategic options such as transparency in governance, adoption of a community based approach and adequate funding of security personnel to cope with these administrative and security issues.

Mr. Naseeb Ullah Khan Bazai concluded the session by accentuating that heritage and culture of Balochistan should be protected and the grievances of the Balochis may be addressed so as to give this region of Pakistan its due right.
