On, Monday 9th March, 2026, Mr. Naseeb Ullah Khan Bazai, Ex-ACS (Dev) Govt. of Balochistan, gave a lecture to the participants of 39th SMC on “Socio-Cultural Diversities within Balochistan Province and their Impact on Publie Service Management”. Mr. Naseeb Ullah Khan Bazai also served as Secretary, Public Health Engineering, Secretary, Prosecution, Secretary, Home and Tribal Affairs, Chairman, Chief minister Inspector team, and in many other posts in Government of Balochistan. He was also honoured with Meritorious Services State Servant Award in Civil Service.

Mr. Naseeb Ullah Khan Bazai spoke about the issues being faced by the people of Balochistan especially those related to security. He discussed at length about weak governance and deteriorating law and order situation in the province and gave strategic options such as transparency in governance, adoption of a community based approach and adequate funding of security personnel to cope with these issues. He extrapolated that the limited and scattered population of Balochistan, and their ethnic diversity pose a challenge for public service management, but it is not an insurmountable challenge if officers and local administrators work together.

Mr. Naseeb Ullah Khan Bazai elaborated upon the diversities in language, tribal customs, and ethnicities in Balochistan and how these diversities may be utilized to enrich culture and society, and contribute to nation building.
