On September 2^nd, 2025, Mr. Shoaib Mir former member FPSC, gave an absorbing lecture to the participants of 38^th SMC on “Socio-Cultural Diversities within Sindh province and their Impact on Public Service Management”. He elaborated upon issues emerging out of socio-cultural diversities and how they impact governance and civil service.

Mr. Shoaib Mir discussed the history of Sindh and the importance of the Indus Valley Civilization in shaping its present-day dynamics. He emphasized the urban-rural divide and the ethnic fault lines existing in the province; and how these affect service delivery. He explained that lack of education and health facilities is a hindrance for the people of Sindh and provincial administrators must chalk out a strategy to work on these twin issues on priority basis. He went on to clarify that even in difficult conditions and adverse times, the people of Sindh thrive, as the culture of philanthropy and resilience that they imbibe allows them to do so.

Mr. Shoaib Mir concluded the session by emphasizing that Sindh province has untapped potential to contribute more effectively to the economy and ecology of the country and that the people of the province are eager to play their part.
