On Tuesday, December 5, 2023. Mr. Salahuddin Yousaf, Director at PAC Group of Colleges conducted a Workshop for the participants of 34^th SMC on “Understanding Financial Statements (Public & Commercial Sectors)”. The eminent guest speaker started the workshop by engaging participants in basic concepts like company, financial statements, regulatory framework for companies. He also dilated upon the need for International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He then discussed the role of Corporate Governance. Having established the theoretical framework, the guest speaker also conducted hands-on session on calculating and interpreting ratios. In the end, the GS presented Bata’s Annual Report 2022. for highlighting various aspects.
