The U.S. Chargé d’Affaires, Ms. Natalie A. Baker visited the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) Lahore on 12th September 2025. She was accompanied by the U.S. Consul General in Lahore, Mr. Stetson Sanders, and other officials from the U.S. Consulate General in Lahore.

The delegation held a meeting with Mr. Muhammad Farooq Mazhar, Director General NIPA, who briefed the visitors on the mandate, training structure, and key initiatives of NIPA. They discussed opportunities for collaboration in capacity building and knowledge exchange.

Ms. Baker also delivered a keynote address to the joint session of the 38th Senior Management Course (SMC) and the 44th Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC). Reaffirming the longstanding and multifaceted partnership between the U.S. and Pakistan, the bilateral relationship has been rooted in decades of cooperation, people-to-people ties, mutual respect, and shared values. Discussions at the event highlighted opportunities for collaboration in trade, investment, technology, and the mining sector.

The visit reaffirmed NIPA Lahore’s commitment to fostering international collaboration in public sector training.
